ABKC August Beginners course addtional Info

Hi,

Thankyou for booking into our August beginners course. If you are no longer able to attend, please advise as we do have a small waitlist of interested people.

Below is some additional information for your course.

The first night is an information session to be held on the 3rd August at 7pm at our clubroom located on 4 Eames street,(next to the caravan park at the show grounds). Please ensure you bring your mask as the session wil be held indoors. As the class is quite full and we have a maximum capacity of 24 particiapnts in the club room (as per Covid requiremens), it is requested that only one person per spot attend. If the main handler is to be a person under the age of 18, then a parent or guardian is welcome to come. Going forward for all training sessions held outside, spectators are more than welcome.

Please bring along your documentation as per below:

- Completed beginners course form (found on the events details page: Event Details)

- signed Covid policy (found on the events details page: Event Details)

- Current dogs vaccination certificate

- cash payment of $100 if you havent made payment online.

No dogs are required for this session.If you are unable to print the 2 forms, we will have a limited supply available on the night.

We will use this session to provide an introduction to the course and the club and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

NSW Covid lockdown

Hi everyone, 

For those who have attended the course, we are now in lockdown in NSW until Sunday 22nd at this stage.

There won't be any training this week. Should this lonckdown get extended we will look at the options available to ensure you still get the full course so please don't worry. 

Keep training what you have learnt so far so when we can return you will all be ready to progess.

We are back!!!

hi Everyone, 

Training is back this week.

When you attend the grounds please make sure you check in using the QR code as well as checking in at the counter. Please maintain the normal 1.5m social distancing I am sure we are all now used to.

Masks are no longer needed outdoors!!

Due to border crossing restrictions we have needed to change one of our instructors. Gordon will be taking over for those who were working with Louisa.

if you can't make it anymore due to the border or other reasons, let us know and we can fit you into another class later when it's more suitable.

New Covid Restrictions

Hi Everyone, 

The new covid restrictions will only allow us 20 vaccinated people on the ground. It has been decided that for the time being, that only those participating in the beginners course and who are fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption can attend our grounds.

So please ensure you bring confirmation of your vaccination status when you attend on Tuesday. If, like me, you are not fully vaccinated just yet, please advise and we can look getting you into another class at a later date to finish off the course, which at this point is looking to be in February next year.

Apologies for the changes yet again however I am sure I can see a light at the end of the covid tunnel!!!
