Dogs Queensland is excited to be offering all dog owners the chance to participate in our first ever first aid course for dogs. This half day program will encompass everything you need to know for your dog from a dog bite and chemical poisoning through to heat trauma and choking.

Our course is designed for all types of dogs from French Bulldogs to Huskies, pedigree dogs to all mix breeds; anyone who is interested in learning about emergency canine first aid is welcome to attend this course. The course will be mostly theory with a few practical demonstrations which you are welcome to try although not required to pass the course.

The workshop will be presented by Joanne Bibby of FurSafe, a degree qualified veteran with over 20 years’ experience focusing on the health and safety of domestic animals.

The course costs $55 per person and includes a free 138-page hard back guidebook, “vetnote” note pad and electronic certificate. We have an onsite café where you are welcome to purchase coffee, food and drinks.
